Hello Everyone,
It's been quite awhile since I have posted.  Since the last post we have had a lot going on.  Mark is working 7 days a week doing our bread route.  It is hard long hours.  I don't feel I get to help that much because I am still working 2 jobs and that wears me down.  Hopefully, when out route is restructured it will help us manager the stores better.  We will see.  As for now, Jordan helps his dad how he can and works one day a week at Ingles.  No plans for school in his future at this time.

Bre has gotten her first job.  She works at Food Lion in Chickamauga.  I'm hoping she'll be able to play volleyball while having this job since it is her last year of school.  Yes, I said last year of school.  She will be a senior in the fall.  Our baby turns 17 this coming weekend (5/26).  She is doing really well in school with the exception of a low Spanish grade.  Of course, I had a low Spanish grade as well in school.  She's working hard to get her grade up a little more.  Bre made it to Prom.  She went with her now boyfriend...Tommy.

Life gets so busy.  We sometimes don't know whether we are coming or going.  However, the one thing we tell each other is we have come along way and God will provide for what we need.   It never hurts for my prayer warriors to throw some up though.  We have a lot of financial stuff that feels like we will be drowning under quicksand.  We do the best we can and move on.  Thanks for taking the time to read our updates.

                                                                                                 Until Next time...

Hello to All!
Our summer is almost over. It doesn't seem possible that school is about to start. I go back to work on the 27th and Bre goes back September 4th. It feels bizzare to not be telling you Jordan starts back also. It hasn't completely sunk in that he is out of high school. However, we have decided to put college on hold. After some great thought and determining that horticulture will be hard to build Jordan is going to be working with our business. He will be working two days a week at Ingles and helping Mark. Our prayer at this point is that our business will be something that he can do one day alone. It's a bitter sweet time that I will not be sending my son off to college like so many of his friends' parents. It just isn't in the plan for now.

Bre on the otherhand is doing great. She made the volleyball team for her JUNIOR year. Gosh, can't believe that one either...a junior. Mark and I actually got to attend her first games last Tuesday. They won both. Her and Cody have been dating a little over 2 years. He's like one of our own. We are extremely proud of her and the yong lady she has become.

I will have a couple of videos to post later. Otherwise, the bread business is going well. It's long hours and is going to take time to get it down, but having my husband happy is worth everything. It still hasn't sunk in that he is his own boss. Updates to come on that as it happens. Thanks to everyone that keeps up with us on our blog. We have so many family and friends that we don't get to share things with. This is a great way to keep in touch.

Until next time...

Hello Everyone, I have lots of news since the last time I updated. I need to do a better job of keeping this updated, but I guess working takes priority. Who knew? Let me see, the last thing I posted was Bre getting her braces. She is doing well with those and we can not believe the difference they have already made! She also became a licensed driver this week. She is so excited as any teenager is. I let her go pay bills today by herself. Nothing like breaking her in good, right? Jordan is still working at Ingles. He moved into the meat department this week. So, for the ones that see him frequently you will have to travel a little farther down the isle to see him. It's always a pleasure to hear the compliments everyone gives about how he acts. It's nice to know you didn't beat your kids for nothing. Just kidding. Really, thank you to everyone that always says a kind word. With that being said Jordan graduated high school. We could not be more proud of an individual. God has brought Jordan so far on his journey of life. It's always a pleasure to see what He does. I am including graduation photos for the ones that haven't seen. (Yes, I know, everyone doesn't have Facebook). For more great news.... Mark and I have been praying and awaiting pieces to fall into place. Well, as of today, it's official. Mark turned in his notice to Sam's. Starting July 30th he will be starting OUR new route. This will be our business and new journey that I have been asking everyone to pray about. We are buying a route with Bimbo Bakeries (yes, please get it out now...I know it's a funny name). The route is local and we have 12 stores. Three of those stores are in Trion and Summerville. If anyone opens a business in our area no one can fill that store. It will be paid for in 10 years (which still amazes me because not even my school loan will be paid for by then). We are very excited and very nervous at the same time. I will still be working both of my jobs. I have to start carrying the insurance. So, no, I will not be leaving school and I will not be quiting my doctor office job either. Maybe one day I can work one job. No time soon though. While we have a couple of weeks before this starts we would appreciate any and all prayers and thoughts. Thanks so much for everyone who has done so this far. Until next time.... Latest and Greatest...

The latest news in the Conley family! First of all, Bre got her braces.
She is really excited to have them finally. Thanks to our special Angels for helping with that...Nana and Papa. She had her track banquet this past Tuesday and received her participation award (she lettered last year). Yesterday was her last day of being a sophomore. Our daughter is officially a JUNIOR!!! We can not believe it. She will be busy keeping up with volleyball through the summer. Also, her 16th birthday is this Saturday. It's hard to believe that she is 16. She is working on getting her license at the present time. Next... on to Jordan. Last Friday was Senior Class Night and he recieved the Principal's Award along with a $250 scholarship. It was very touching. I have the video on my FB timeline for those who haven't seen it. On Monday we found out that he will actually be graduating Saturday with a regular diploma and NOT a certificate like we were thinking. He had to retake the Graduation portions so many times we were a little worried. Saturday is his big day.

The last few days....

Well the last few days has been busy, busy, busy as usual. Of course, to the ones that keep up with my family know that's nothing knew.
April 9th we lost yet another Goggin sister (my Aunt Betty). Now, there are 4 of the 6 in heaven together. I know that it's God's design for us to go through these things, but it doesn't make it any easier when we have to deal with them. She will be missed greatly.
Last Sunday the 15th was the 6th anniversary of our wreck. It's always a day that I reflect and think a lot and miss my mother. However, I know her place now is where we all strive to be. With Jordan being given 3 days to live from that day in 2006 it is great to see where he is now it is amazing what God can do.

So, April 14th was PROM. Yes, I said PROM!!! Still can't believe it myself. It was very cool that I was able to chaperone. No, I didn't hover over my child! I actually know a lot of the kids that Jordan is graduating with. I will post a picture of my handsome son in his tux. He is getting anxious and ready to graduate (what teenager isn't). This is what he looked like in his tux...

Having a great sister like Jordan does...she helped him get ready for Prom. Bre has turned into an amazing young lady. My baby will be turning 16 this year. The bad part is her birthday actually falls on Jordan's graduation day. Really? :0) We are trying to plan one day special enough for 2 people. This will be interesting. She is still doing great and loving driving (permit). She does really well.
So, I haven't posted Bre's volleyball picture. I am attaching that.

Thanks to everyone that takes time to read our blog. I don't get to update as much as I would like.

Until next time....

So, Jordan is still working. He is getting a few more hours in than before which helps. He went to get his tux last Tuesday for prom. I can't wait to see it because everyone who knows Jordan knows how country he is. He has a camou vest with a hunting orange bow tie.....Yes, you read that correctly. I get the opportunity to chaperone prom this year. Jordan had absolutely no reaction when I told him. So, we will see how this plays out.
I am fortunate enough to do photos as my other side job and I got to shoot Jordan's senior casuals. For those who haven't seen them I am posting one below...

Bre is still doing track and in the middle of the season. She went from high jump (from last year) to throwing shot and disc this season. She is doing well. Her last meet wasn't as wonderful, but every athlete has their bad days. Her and Cody are still dating and had their "2 year anniversary" in February. So, between school, sports, and a boyfriend we see her most evenings. hahaha

Until next time...

Lots of love,
Mark, Renee, Jordan and Bre

It's Been Awhile...

Our family is as busy as ever. I'm working a total of 3 1/2 jobs and keep on going. Mark is in another position within Sam's Club and his hours are rotating. Jordan has been doing paperwork to get his college info started. He is excited to be going to Chattanooga State Technical for Hortaculture certificate. He will be graduating from Heritage High School in May of 2012. OH DEAR!!!! Can not believe that day is just around the corner. Jordan has his first job at Ingles in Ringgold. He loves it!

Bre is a sophomore at Heritage High School. She lettered in Track in the 2010-2011 school year. She made the 2011-2012 High School Volleyball team. She had an amazing time with that. Now, her focus is back on academics. She is taking ASL (American Sigh Language) and trying to teach her mother. Bre is also driving. She has her permit and does really well.

I apologize that it has been almost 2 years since I have posted anything on the blog. It's funny how life moves along and you are left wondering where the time went. This is our latest family photo. For those that haven't known...photography is my 1 1/2 job and hobby.

Merry Christmas to All!

Until the next post....

Forever in His grip,
Mark, Renee, Jordan, & Bre

The Latest

We went to Atlanta for Jordan's basketball game. We had 2 teams. Team A brought home bronze. Team B (which was Jordan's team) didn't place. However, they did amazing and he enjoyed every bit of it. Jordan is #42 in the picture above in case someone can't figure that out (lol!!). You will have to copy and paste the following addresses into your bar in order to go to them, but I have posted pictures here:

I had forgotten to mention on the last post about Bre's upcoming debut. She auditioned for our middle school musical........"Seussical the Musical". She made it and is going to be a jungle citizen/circus animal. I will let everyone know when the dates are. It will be some time in the spring.

Until next time.........

Lots of love,
Renee

Happy New Year to ALL!

Bre had her first ultrasound on the 21st and it went well. She returns this coming Tuesday for her monthly blood work. She is doing very well and hasn't had too many painful days. She is such a strong young lady. She most certainly keeps us on our toes.

Jordan is part of the unified basketball team for school. That means he plays with the Special Olympics children along with "partners" (or non-special needs children) on one team. We go January 14-17th for the games in Atlanta. He is very excited as basketball has been his favorite thing to do since way before our wreck. Of course, you know that I will be taking plenty of pictures!

Mark and I are putting more and more faith in God to get us through each and everyday. God never fails us and there is always something that comes along to show us how much we can not go without Him. We are very thankful for all we have. Mark is reaching for dreams of opening a sugar-free bakery shop along with my dreams of doing jewelry and photography (I know, what a combo). However, we are not getting any younger and believe it or not.............Jordan will be graduating high school in less than 3 years! Therefore, we are trying to do something that is going to benefit him and Bre as well. So, for now, this is what is going on in the Conley household.

Another year has come and gone before we have realized it. This has definitely been an eventful year for our family. We wanted to pass on wishes and blessings for the upcoming to year to all of those in our lives. We love each and everyone of you.

Until next time............

Lots of love,
Mark, Renee, Jordan, & Bre

The Final Result

We want everyone to know that the prayers, thoughts, concerns, and actions over the past few weeks have been more than appreciated. I am taking the next several days to gather myself and deal with some other issues. Our verdict for this 2 week course was against our favor. The jury did side with Ford.
However, I would like to say that GOD has it all under control and this is no surprise to Him. The people that represented us could have NOT been any better, compassionate, or more wonderful. They were definitely picked by God to put all this together. Although, it is disappointing, we are accepting of the outcome because we know God handles all things we go through no matter what it is.

This chapter has closed as far as court wise, but we still have some technical stuff to wrap up and sort through. We are anxious to get back to a routine in our life that is some what normal (whatever that might be). I just wanted to post an overall result for everyone to read because I know many are wondering. I don't want to post details so, please, if you want to ask anything you can email us. We don't mind answering any questions.

Until next time.............

Lots of love,
Mark, Renee, Jordan, & Bre
